Flawless start: Colombian plant purchases a comprehensive suite of Salvagnini solutions after successful real-world testing

Last year the hybrid press brake Salvagnini B3.G4 started operating in the city of Pereira (Colombia). And in April next year, it will be supplied with the automated line Salvagnini S4.G4 + P4.G4 + MD and the laser Salvagnini L3.

The quality of the manufactured products and the high degree of automation (and therefore the minimization of heavy manual labor, the elimination of downtime, and the cleanliness of the shop floor) impressed the manufacturer so much that today he has already ordered additional Salvagnini flagship equipment.

The Salvagnini flexible manufacturing system combines three key elements:

• S4.G4 — a high-performance punching and cutting center for sheet metal;

• P4.G4 — an intelligent panel bender for processing parts without operator involvement;

• MD — an automated warehouse for material storage and uninterrupted material supply.

Combined with the laser cutting machine, this equipment covers virtually all production tasks.
